Skibbereen - Local News

Skibbereen is one of the most prominent towns in Cork. With a rich and varied history in terms of politics, entertainment, sports and science, and some incredible scenery and attractions, it is a huge draw for tourists and holiday makers. The architecture, dating back several hundred years in many cases, has been a source of fascination to both natives and visitors for many years.

Skibbereen plays host to the Irish Cloud Festival, the Skibbereen Arts Festival, the West Cork Food Festival and a number of other annual events throughout the summer.
